Trial Mode

If no license is activated, ZeXtras Suite will run in Trial Mode. All the available modules will be activated for a 30-day period, with some limitations.

When running in Trial Mode, the Backup module will not allow to import data exported more than 30 days from the current date.

This is affected by the timestamp of the export, NOT by the timestamp of the items thereby contained: you will be able to import all items regardless of their date as long as those have been exported less than 30 days ago.

How to purchase a new Zextras Suite license

You can buy Zextras Suite directly on our website: https://store.zextras.com Once you are into our store, you have to:

  • Enter the total number of mailboxes on your Zimbra server;

  • Select the product: Zextras Suite Pro, Zextras Suite Basic or Zextras Suite Mobile; (minimum 10 account)

    • If you pick Zextras Suite Pro you have the possibility to add Team Pro by flagging the checkbox:

      • Enter the number of Team Pro accounts you want to activate

  • Select the license’s duration: Yearly, Perpetual or Custom

    • Yearly

      • Valid for 365 days since the purchase

      • Ongoing access to upgrades and support

    • Perpetual

      • Access to upgrades and support during maintenance subscription. If the maintenance subscription has expired, you can keep using the product but you can’t upgrade it or benefit of our support service until you subscribe to maintenance again.

    • Custom

      • Choose start/end date (Minimum duration: 30 Days; Minimum amount: 13 USD)

      • Ongoing access to upgrades and support

The maximum number of mailboxes that can be purchased online is 5000. Orders over 5000 mailboxes qualify for a custom quotation so, contact the Sales Team.

How to add accounts on your Zextras Suite License

  • Login to your Zextras Account;

  • Go to “CUSTOMER CORNER”;

  • Select from the Order Tab the license you want to upgrade by clicking on “upgrade”;

  • Enter the new total number of mailboxes on your Zimbra server; 1 (e.g. if you already have 10 mailboxes and you want to add 5 more, you you have to insert 15);

The store will automatically calculate the cost of the added mailboxes for the residual duration of your current license.

You will now display the overall cost of the licenses (you can check the cost’s details). Pick the payment method you prefer and then proceed with the purchase.

How to extend the duration of your Yearly or Custom Zextras Suite License

  • Login to your Zextras Account;

  • Go to “CUSTOMER CORNER”;

  • Select from the Order Tab the license you want to extend by clicking on “upgrade”;

In the duration box, select the new expiry date you want to apply.

The store will automatically calculate the residual value of your current license and show you the overall cost of the new extended license (you can check the cost’s details). Pick the payment method you prefer and then proceed with the purchase.

You won’t have to wait the license’s expiry date. You can decide to extend it anytime; the system will deduct automatically the residual value of your previous license from the final price.

How to extend the Maintenance of your Zextras Suite Perpetual License

  • Login to your Zextras Account;

  • Go to “CUSTOMER CORNER”;

  • Select from the Order Tab the license for which you want to extend the maintenance by clicking on “upgrade”;

In the duration box, flag the checkbox: “Add 1 more year of Maintenance Service”.

The store will automatically calculate the residual value of your current maintenance and show you the overall cost of the new extended maintenance (you can check the cost’s details). Pick the payment method you prefer and then proceed with the purchase.

You won’t have to wait the license’s expiry date. You can decide to extend it anytime; the system will deduct automatically the residual value of your previous license from the final price.
If the maintenance subscription has expired, you can keep using the product but you can’t upgrade it or benefit of our support service until you subscribe to maintenance again. In order to extend the maintenance you have to follow the steps described above.

How to upgrade to a different version of Zextras Suite

  • Go to “CUSTOMER CORNER”;

  • Select from the Order Tab the license you want to upgrade by clicking on “upgrade”;

  • Select the version of Zextras Suite you want

    • Zextras Suite Mobile can be upgraded to Zextras Suite Pro

    • Zextras Suite Basic can be upgraded to Zextras Suite Pro

    • Zextras Suite Pro can be boosted by Team Pro

The store will automatically calculate the residual value of your current license and calculate the cost of the new version.

You will now display the overall cost of the licenses (you can check the cost’s details). Pick the payment method you prefer and then proceed with the purchase.

How to upgrade old module to Zextras Suite

The old modules will be converted into the new Zextras Suite as shown in the following table.

How to redeem a BID

Zextras BID

  • The Sales Team create the BID on the user’s account

  • User has to login to his personal Zextras account and will find there the BID

  • Select the BID

  • Proceed with the payment

The number of licensed mailboxes acquired must be greater than or equal to the total number of account mailboxes on your Zimbra Server.

How to find out the appropriate number of mailboxes

If you have Zextras Suite installed on your Zimbra infrastructure simply access the Zimbra Administration console, click on the 'Zextras Suite' entry on the left and then on 'Core'. The number listed as 'Your Mailboxes' in the 'License' section of the page is the minimum number of mailboxes you need to license.

If Zextras Suite is not yet installed on your Zimbra infrastructure, you can run the following search in the Zimbra Administration Console: the number of results is the minimum number of mailboxes you need to license.
