Introduction#
What is Carbonio CE?#
Carbonio Community Edition (Carbonio CE) is an open-source digital communication and collaboration platform designed to empower organisations, particularly small and medium-sized businesses, with a user-friendly and seamless experience for their essential communication and collaboration needs, while prioritising data sovereignty. Built upon a robust and secure architecture, Carbonio CE provides core collaborative tools, including enterprise-grade email, contacts and calendars management, integrated with modern features such as real-time chat, video meetings, and document editing.

Zextras Carbonio CE is Open Source and can be downloaded for free.

Note
The Kyrgyz language can currently be set only from the CLI. From the next release, it will be featured as an option from the Carbonio Admin Panel as well. If you set it from the CLI, the corresponding field in the Carbonio Admin Panel will be shown as empty.
Setting Languages From CLI#
To change the languages from the CLI, you can issue the following
commands as the zextras user.

To retrieve the currest language settings for a user or cos, execute

Volunteer Translators#
Zextras makes available an online translation platform to qualified individuals wishing to help the translation process.
Translation in languages that are not currently supported is encouraged, albeit we cannot guarantee any estimate upon the official inclusion in the product.
