MTA AV/AS

Overview

The MTA AV/AS component stands for Mail Transfer Agent with AntiVirus and AntiSpam capabilities.

This component is responsible for managing the transmission of emails and ensuring that both incoming and outgoing messages are scanned for viruses and spam, thereby maintaining the security and integrity of the email system.

The MTA service handles the routing and delivery of emails between servers, while the integrated AV (AntiVirus) and AS (AntiSpam) services protect the infrastructure from malicious content and unsolicited messages.
